More pictures uploaded
I’ve uploaded quite a few pictures, mainly from film shot through my Lomo. With the exception of one roll of black and white negatives, I’ve only used color slide film that I also have cross processed. When film is cross processed, its intentionally developed in the wrong chemicals. For example, to cross slide film, you process it in C-41, which is for negative film. This changes the color saturation in the pictures and it has different effects on different film types. Fujifilm Provia has a green/yello hue to it when crossed, but Fujifilm Velvia has a blue/red hue to it, depending on the light level.
When you look at my Lomo Flickr set you can see it readily because the first half of the pictures are mostly Provia and the second half are mostly Velvia so its very noticeable.
My Flickr Map is looking quite respectable as well! Flickr allows users to ‘geotag’ their pictures, which means you can see on a map, where the picture was taken. Some of my pictures aren’t exact. Like the Iran pictures, namely because we don’t have good street-level information in Yahoo! maps for Iran. Go figure. Others aren’t exact because I took them too long ago to remember what street I was on, or I took the picture in an area I’m not very familiar with, etc. Or because I have a shotty short-term memory, take your pick. =)
