RSA 2007 Planning

  1. VPN profile configured to split-tunnel all traffic through the corporate concentrator check
  2. Blackberry set up for easy blogging check
  3. Pocket camera for quick snaps check
  4. Big stack O’ business cards check
  5. Schedule of events I’d like to hit check
  6. Meet-ups arranged with different friends check

Its shaping up to be a good time! A couple of vendors have contacted me for dinner meetings and I will finally be meeting several bloggers in person and also will get to catch up with Caveman Luke and catch the football game. Go Bears (I had to say that, otherwise I couldn’t return to Chicago)

RSA bound!

I just shipped my payment to RSA 2007. I’m now building my schedule and marking sessions I am interested in.

My hotel is literally 909 feet from my good friend Luke from AOL so it should be a good week. Since we have an office in San Francisco I’ve taken advantage of the trip by also scheduling a firewall/IPS audit and security awareness training sessions for that office before RSA.

I’m also going to try to hook up with Shimmel, Farnum, et al at their ad-hoc blogger’s meet-up. I’m sure there will be plenty of blog coverage of the event. I’ll try to throw in some pictures as well. All of my posts from the event will use the tag “RSA 2007″ for easy searching.
