Iran Journal Friday 6-23

I’ve uploaded several more pictures.

Today we got up and packed and had the Iranian version of the continental breakfast; bread, cheese, off-the-wall jams like carrot jam (good) and rose jam (very good), tea, hard boiled eggs and tea cookies. (more…)

Iran Journal Thursday 6-22

IMG_1922.JPGToday we got up at 5:00 a.m. to pick up Dadash, one of the brothers, and head to Esfahan. To get to Esfahan we had to drive across the desert, which is an experience on its own. We took a lot of water and I slathered on the sun screen. (more…)

Iran Journal Tuesday 6-20

Today we just lounged around and recovered. I went to the bank with my brother-in-law to exchange currency. Since the issue of uranium enrichment, no banks in London are allowed to do business with Iranian banks so I wasn’t able to get any Iranian Rials until I got to Iran. (more…)
